Alabama senator and fellow Republican Tommy Tuberville disclosed the details of Lindsey Graham’s final phone call. Tuberville shared that one of his staff members was with Graham’s scheduler on Saturday night when Graham reached out.
According to Tuberville, Graham said, “Lindsey called, basically said, ‘Listen, I’m having chest pains. You know, I need to do something.'” Concerned for his well-being, the scheduler asked if Graham had contacted 911.
Graham responded, “No, that’s the reason I called you.”
Tuberville recounted, “By the time she got there, 911 had knocked the door down, and they were working on him.”
Earlier that day, Graham, 71, had a conversation with the president in which they discussed a recent trip to Ukraine. During this exchange, Trump, 80, shared his intentions regarding planned strikes on Iran.
