RadarOnline.com has obtained exclusive audio from Busfield’s hearing, shedding light on the accusations made by two child actors. Busfield attributed the allegations to the children’s parents, claiming they were upset when their children were not recast in their roles.
Busfield firmly denied the accusations and later entered a plea of not guilty. He suggested that the parents’ motivations were financially driven rather than focused on their children’s welfare.
In a sworn testimony provided to Radar, Busfield remarked, “My wife was a kid actor. I know paid actors and parents from almost 50 years of doing this … I can tell when the parents are in it for the money, sometimes, I’m wrong sometimes, but I can tell.”
He further argued that these allegations were part of a scheme against him after the two children from the set of The Cleaning Lady, who remain unnamed by authorities, were not rehired. Instead, their roles were filled by another unnamed child actor.
