Last night, President Donald J. Trump unveiled newly declassified intelligence that had been concealed from the public for years. The documents reveal that foreign adversaries, primarily China, have significantly compromised U.S. voter data, leaving the nation’s election infrastructure highly susceptible to hacking and manipulation—intelligence that officials had intentionally suppressed.
Radical Left Democrats and their Fake News allies quickly attempted to discredit, downplay, and distract from these startling revelations. Here are the facts:
CLAIM: “President Trump’s address contained no new information.”
- FACT: President Trump disclosed a considerable amount of newly declassified intelligence that had never before been publicized or even shared with him. This includes evaluations confirming that China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and other hostile entities have the ability to compromise U.S. election systems, as well as evidence showing that Venezuela’s Maduro regime developed techniques to alter vote totals digitally and undetectably—information with significant implications for U.S. elections.
CLAIM: “We already knew foreign adversaries try to interfere in our elections.”
- FACT: The goal is to reveal the extent of foreign interference attempts in U.S. elections. For instance, President Trump revealed that China obtained personal data from 220 million American voters—names, addresses, phone numbers, and party affiliations—during the 2020 election cycle, marking the largest known breach of U.S. voter information. Intelligence agencies were aware of this breach in at least 18 states but kept it from the President and Congress.
CLAIM: “President Trump was in office in 2020, so he was undermined by his own team.”
- FACT: This is precisely the point: Deep State elements within the government withheld crucial assessments from President Trump. One analyst confessed to “deliberately massaging” the President’s Daily Brief to exclude election-related intelligence, while an FBI official described operating “a shadow government” to keep this information from reaching the President.

CLAIM: “The voter data China obtained is already public information anyway.”
- FACT: When China acquired similar data on British voters, the Biden Administration responded with sanctions and criminal charges. When Iranian hackers accessed just 100,000 American voter files, the Biden Department of Justice filed indictments. However, when China obtained data on 220 million Americans, these officials remained silent and concealed the breach—an indefensible double standard.
CLAIM: “There is no evidence they were able to change the outcome of votes.”
- FACT: This is an attempt to divert attention. President Trump did not claim past elections were affected; rather, he highlighted ongoing vulnerabilities in the U.S. election systems that foreign adversaries have both the intent and ability to exploit, revealing that senior intelligence officials purposely withheld this information from the President and the public.
CLAIM: “The number of non-citizens on voter rolls is insignificant.”
- FACT: A Department of Homeland Security review identified about 278,000 non-citizens registered to vote in federal elections across four states that cooperated with the Department’s request. With several Democrat-led states refusing to share their voter files, the actual number is likely much higher.
CLAIM: “There is no evidence of fraud or irregularities in our elections.”
- FACT: The declassified documents outline how clear evidence of fraud was deliberately concealed. For example, an investigation found Democrat-aligned canvassers in Michigan forged voter registrations, submitted applications for non-existent people, and received gift cards based on the quantity of fraudulent registrations they created leading up to the 2020 election. Despite the evidence, the Biden Justice Department delayed the investigation for years.
CLAIM: “Mail-in voting is safe and secure.”
- FACT: Numerous independent analyses have long warned about the increased risks associated with mail-in ballots. The bipartisan Commission on Federal Election Reform concluded that absentee ballots present “the largest source of potential voter fraud.” The MIT Election Data + Science Lab has noted that fraud is more common with mail voting than in-person voting. A Heartland Institute/Rasmussen poll found that 21% of mail-in voters admitted to some form of fraud in the 2020 election. The Heritage Foundation has documented widespread vulnerabilities to theft, forgery, and coercion.
President Trump is demanding accountability. He has instructed the Director of National Intelligence, Department of Justice, FBI, and CIA to investigate how this vital intelligence was kept from the sitting President and the American public—and to hold those responsible accountable, potentially facing criminal charges.
These revelations highlight a critical issue: America’s election system is broken and exposed. President Trump is urging Congress to promptly pass the SAVE America Act to protect our elections from such exploitation.
