Combs’ release date has been adjusted multiple times since his incarceration, with the reasons remaining unclear. He is currently scheduled to be released on January 24, 2028.
Reportedly, Combs is still hopeful that President Donald Trump might grant him a pardon. Although it seems the 80-year-old president is not inclined to do so, Combs continues to hold onto hope.
“Diddy thinks Trump respects fighters,” a source stated. “As long as Trump is in the White House, he believes there’s still a chance.”
However, even if a pardon were granted, Combs’ legal troubles would not be resolved. He is still facing numerous civil lawsuits with allegations including drugging victims, sexual misconduct, sexual assault, and battery.
Combs has denied all the accusations made against him.
“Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone,” his spokesperson commented following a new lawsuit accusing the rapper of sexually abusing a minor. “These allegations will be disproven like all of the rest. He is going to pursue all avenues he can to defend himself and make sure those who start and spread lies are held responsible.”
