“ESPN sources: Two-time Pro-Bowl selection Bijan Robinson and the Falcons reached agreement on a three-year extension worth up to $75 million that now will make him the highest-paid running back in NFL history. Robinson will receive a record $51 million guaranteed, including $37 million at signing,” Schefter tweeted.

Bijan Robinson is coming off an incredible 2025 season
Bijan Robinson’s significant contract extension follows an outstanding 2025 season. He led the league with 2,298 total yards from scrimmage (1,478 rushing, 820 receiving), setting a new single-season franchise record for the Falcons.
He averaged 6.3 yards per touch, equaling the fifth-best mark in NFL history among players with over 2,000 scrimmage yards, alongside O.J. Simpson (1975) and Marshall Faulk (2001).
In his first three NFL seasons, Robinson has amassed 5,648 scrimmage yards, the highest total ever achieved by an NFL player aged 23 or younger, and stands fourth all-time through a player’s first three seasons. With this agreement, the Falcons have secured Robinson until 2030. He is anticipated to rejoin training as the Falcons prepare for the upcoming season.
