Influencer Jen Hamilton is redefining her would-be 14th wedding anniversary as she navigates a challenging separation.
“Today marks 14 years since my wedding, and here I am, 14 years ago, filled with excitement for what’s ahead,” Hamilton, 35, expressed in an Instagram video on Tuesday, August 4. She shared a nostalgic photo from her wedding day with her estranged husband, Brian Hamilton. “This is me now at my ‘Jendependence Day’ celebration, surrounded by loved ones who are thrilled for my future.”
In celebration of her self-declared “Jendependence,” a clever blend of her name and the concept of independence, Jen threw a party with her friends, radiating happiness in the photos she posted on social media.
“It’s astonishing that this is the best anniversary I’ve ever had,” Jen remarked on Tuesday. “It’s an honor to feel more loved now than I did during my marriage, and the [photo showed] just half of those who joined. This is truly the best anniversary I’ve ever experienced.”
In June, Jen disclosed that she and Brian had separated after many years of marriage.
“Yes, we are separating. This brings immense pain for both of us but also gratitude for the 15 years of shared history, love, and friendship,” the couple stated in a joint announcement. They share two sons and emphasized their commitment to support each other and prioritize their family’s well-being during this transition.
A few weeks later, Jen accused Brian of leading a “double life” prior to their decision to part ways.

“He was leading a double life with a 56-year-old woman. I should have left him much sooner — giving myself grace,” Jen claimed on Instagram last month. “I am fortunate to have the resources to leave a bad relationship. Many women cannot due to financial constraints or lack of resources.”
Brian has not publicly responded to these accusations, but Jen maintains that he never showed much romantic interest in her.
“While I was at the hospital caring for others, he managed to lead a completely different life,” she claimed further. “Having never passionately kissed anyone else in my life, this reality has devastated me beyond comprehension. I’m done being people’s PR manager. My children know, and everyone in my circle is aware.”
