The 2026 Pure Street Photography Awards showcase a wide range of emotions and scenes, from humor and chance to gravity and tension. This annual competition is divided into two sections: black-and-white and open. The entries capture diverse human experiences, featuring scenes from New York City’s reflections to striking urban landscapes and thoughtful rural tableaux.
This year’s competition attracted nearly 1,600 submissions from photographers across 50 countries, with eight winners emerging from the pool. An exhibition featuring 158 of the top images is scheduled to take place at Jawahar Kala Kendra in Jaipur, India, from November 20 to 22. Additionally, submissions for the 2027 edition are now being accepted, and more information can be found on the contest’s Instagram.
