In recent months, AEW has organized several special events across North America, including notable shows like Grand Slam Mexico, Beach Break, and Summer Blockbuster. However, the heartwarming AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite has captured the most attention.
The Rebel Heart events are dedicated to the AEW star Rebel, who was diagnosed with ALS in May. These shows are part of All Elite Wrestling’s initiative to support her in her personal battle. Now, another promotion is set to collaborate with the Jacksonville-based organization for an upcoming special show.
As mentioned on the company’s official X handle, 1FW will host a special Rebel Heart event on September 9 in Athens, Georgia. This show will be recorded before and after AEW Dynamite, with 1FW contributing to the I AM ALS organization.
The wrestling promotion plans to raise funds through live events and merchandise sales, showing 1FW’s commitment to supporting Rebel’s fight against ALS. It will be intriguing to see what else is planned for this significant event.
