Serving as the White House Press Secretary for the past year and a half has been an extraordinary honor and adventure. I am deeply thankful to President Trump for providing me with numerous exceptional opportunities, including working in the West Wing, spending extensive time in the Oval Office, traveling globally to meet foreign leaders, and exploring our beautiful nation and connecting with Americans from diverse backgrounds.
Above all, I am grateful to the President for giving me the unique privilege of speaking on his behalf at the White House podium. I have proudly discussed the many historic achievements of this Administration and have enjoyed holding the liberal media accountable, ensuring the American public is informed about President Trump’s successes.
Balancing motherhood and welcoming a new baby while managing one of the most demanding jobs globally has been both rewarding and challenging. Since returning to the White House after my daughter’s birth, I have realized that I cannot be the best mother my two young children deserve while dedicating the necessary time, energy, and attention required as the White House Press Secretary. This is why I have made the bittersweet decision to leave the White House and begin a new chapter in my life.
