Donald Trump lauded Karoline Leavitt as “wonderful” and “one of my most trusted aides” while announcing her impending departure. Her tenure in his administration will conclude at the end of August, as stated in a post on Truth Social.
Trump expressed understanding and respect for her decision, which was motivated by a desire to prioritize her family over her career.
Despite stepping down, Leavitt is expected to remain active within the MAGA movement. According to Trump, she “will now be one of my top outside advisors” and is anticipated to be “an influential voice within the Republican Party.”
Trump further commended Leavitt, highlighting her leadership in the White House and her exceptional work advocating for Justice, Liberty, and Freedom since 2018, including during the 2024 Historic Re-Election Campaign. He praised her as one of the best White House Press Secretaries in history, thanking her for her exemplary service.
In addition, Trump hinted at his administration’s strategic focus on the upcoming midterm elections, which could potentially lead to significant changes. His aim is to “conclusively win” these elections for the MAGA party as they endeavor to “defy History.”
