MTV and Paramount+ have announced the renewal of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “All Stars,” and “Untucked” for new seasons.
The flagship series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” is set to return to MTV for its 19th season. Season 18 saw impressive growth, achieving double-digit increases in viewership compared to the previous season and setting a new record for premiere viewership. The series experienced a 19% rise in the P18-49 rating (0.564 vs. 0.472) and a 7% increase in P18-49 share (2.43 vs. 2.27). Season 18 was among the Top 3 cable series in 2026 in the key demographic.
Season 18 featured memorable guest judges like Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Benny Blanco, and others. Myki Meeks emerged as the winner.
The aftershow, “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked,” will also return for its 18th season.

Paramount+ has also renewed “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” for its 12th season, featuring the return of the Tournament of All Stars format, where returning queens compete for a spot in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame.” Crystal Methyd was crowned victor in the latest season. This season included the franchise’s first all-disco Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown and featured guest judges like Kate Hudson, La Toya Jackson, Reneé Rapp, and others. “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked” will come back for its 9th season.
As Emmy voting proceeds, the show has garnered 11 nominations, including a nod for outstanding host for a reality or reality competition program for RuPaul. This nomination marks a record-extending 11th consecutive nomination.
