While many MagSafe accessories work with Pixelsnap, Google’s decision to create its own first-party options raises questions about their strategy.
Magnetic wallets, grips, mounts, and portable chargers are just a few examples of excellent Pixelsnap accessories. These items, like the new phone cases released each year, are designed to seamlessly match the phones in both color and style.
There are additional accessories that would be highly beneficial, such as a ring light, passport holder, and camera grips. These would greatly enhance the user experience.
Samsung could hit back
The absence of innovation in Google’s Pixelsnap presents an opportunity for its competitor, Samsung. Despite this, Samsung has not yet integrated built-in magnets into its 2026 flagship devices and continues to depend on cases for Qi2 compatibility.
