Videos shared on Instagram by a special education teacher in California have led to a police investigation.
Kenisha Daily, a special education teacher in the Madera Unified School District in Fresno, posted videos where she was seen holding a gun and suggesting the formation of a “Black mafia,” advocating for Black people to “shoot some guns” and “rob some white people.”


The videos were promptly reported to Madera Unified by concerned followers on Saturday night.
KMPH reports that a home visit by authorities led to a temporary restraining order and an ongoing investigation.
“MUSD and the Madera Police Department completed a safety review to enhance security at Lincoln Elementary.”
In one clip, Kenisha Daily of Fresno states she’s “starting a black militia” and plans to “rob some white people.”
Other videos on Daily’s Instagram, captured by concerned citizens, show her with a handgun and what appears to be a long gun.
The videos sparked strong backlash online, leading to a multi-agency investigation.
Fresno and Madera police, along with the Madera Unified School District, have acknowledged awareness of the videos and are conducting an investigation.
In the meantime, the Lincoln Elementary School special education teacher has been placed on leave and is under a temporary restraining order.
