📈 PUMP Prints First Golden Cross as Revenue Hits a Seven-Month High
Pump.fun’s PUMP token has experienced a challenging 10-month period since reaching a peak of $8 billion back in September 2025. However, it seems that the tide is turning for the token.
PUMP’s 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) has crossed above its 200-day EMA for the first time since its launch in mid-2025, signaling a “golden cross” according to technical analysts. The token hit a low of $0.001491 in July but saw a surge to $0.003 on Monday before stabilizing around $0.002733.
The token’s recent momentum is backed by improving fundamentals. DefiLlama data shows that Pump.fun generated $11.52 million in seven-day revenue, ranking fourth among all protocols in the crypto sphere, surpassing popular platforms like Polymarket, GMGN, and Tron. Pump’s weekly revenue is now double that of Hyperliquid, which boasts a $59 billion Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV). Its annualized revenue stands at $458 million against a market cap of $1.09 billion, marking a significant milestone as revenue hits its highest level since February.
Revenue is a crucial factor for Pump as the team allocates half of its earnings towards buyback and burn mechanisms. Last week alone, $5.33 million was used for PUMP token repurchases, offsetting 15.9% of the total supply. The team has bought and burned a total of $429 million worth of PUMP tokens, accounting for 28.58% of the circulating supply. Recent updates include the launch of Callout Rewards, where users are rewarded based on the volume of token callouts they generate, as well as the reduction of app trading fees to 0% on Solana and 0.1% for cross-chain transactions.
In conclusion, the resurgence of memecoins in the current market indicates that they continue to hold significant popularity. Pump.fun is strategically positioned to capitalize on the memecoin trend, showcasing strong growth potential in the upcoming bull market. Stay tuned for more exciting developments in the crypto space!
