Media outlets aligned with the Democratic Party and left-leaning election groups are in a state of panic following President Trump’s refusal to dismiss the possibility of emergency measures for the 2026 midterm elections.
The Guardian has expressed alarm, accusing President Trump of “sowing election distrust” and setting the stage for potentially declaring a national emergency before the 2026 midterms.
There is an evident fear among these groups, as the American public is now being presented with extensive evidence.
The Trump administration is unveiling government records related to noncitizen voting, foreign interference, vulnerabilities in election systems, and significant issues with state voter rolls.
According to The Guardian, election activists are concerned that Trump might utilize these findings to declare a national-security emergency, thereby increasing federal control over the upcoming November midterms.
The publication referred to Trump’s address in July concerning election security, the release of declassified intelligence documents, recent federal discoveries about noncitizen voting, and the administration’s persistent advocacy for voter identification and citizenship verification.
In July, President Trump addressed the nation from the White House, disclosing declassified intelligence that revealed China had obtained up to 220 million U.S. voter records, including names, addresses, and phone numbers.
The White House Government Transparency Task Force described it as the largest breach of election data in history.
Countries like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea have the potential to compromise U.S. election infrastructure. DHS analysis identified hundreds of thousands of non-citizen registrations. Vulnerabilities in voting machines were also highlighted. The deep state allegedly attempted to conceal this information for years, but Trump has brought it to light.
Steve Bannon, a former strategist for Trump, has predicted that the president may declare an emergency to safeguard the upcoming elections.
“Take your No 2 pencil out. It’s coming. It’s coming. Just block the last week of August out. It’s coming.”
Bannon also informed CNN that the declassified information presented during Trump’s July address served as a “powerful predicate” for a National Security Emergency concerning the midterms.
Wayne Allyn Root, a contributor to Gateway Pundit and vocal advocate for genuine election security, directly suggested the idea to the President on Real America’s Voice.
Trump did not dismiss or avoid the suggestion. He responded: “Let me just say, stranger things have happened, OK? I’ll leave it at that.”
Wayne Allyn Root shared this on :
I interviewed President Donald J. Trump. My record-setting 17th interview with the President of the United States resulted in a Democrat meltdown and liberal media firestorm.
For the past three days (and counting), one particular idea I proposed to President Trump during our interview has been the top story on every liberal political talk show in America.
My proposal to secure our elections has dominated MSNOW and CNN headlines. The left is in a full-blown panic over the possibility that President Trump might adopt my idea for…
A NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY FOR ELECTIONS.
In a subsequent War Room interview, Steve Bannon asked Root whether the ongoing election-integrity disclosures by the administration provided enough grounds for Trump to take action.

WAYNE ALLEN ROOT: Ask the American people, why are Democrats so desperate? If there isn’t rigging, if there isn’t cheating, if there isn’t stealing, why are they so scared of such simple things that merely lead to election security?
