Serayah has called off her engagement to Joey Bada$$ after over three years together, citing alleged repeated infidelity as the reason for her decision. The actress and singer shared the news on Monday, August 24, through an extensive Instagram post, stating that she reached a point where prioritizing herself was essential.
This announcement comes more than a year after the couple welcomed their first child and shortly after they seemed to advance their relationship further. Although Serayah did not divulge more personal details, she emphasized that the breakup followed a challenging period of dealing with what she termed as infidelity throughout their relationship.

In her message, Serayah expressed that she made the “difficult decision” to end her engagement and relationship with Joey Bada$$, who is also the father of her child.
“I loved deeply, believed wholeheartedly in the life we were building, and wanted nothing more than to protect our family,” she stated.
Despite her hopes, Serayah said she eventually had to face a “painful truth” about their relationship. She claimed there was repeated infidelity, including during pivotal and meaningful moments in her life.
She clarified that her intention in sharing this was not to seek sympathy or retaliate against her former partner. Instead, she wanted to highlight her experience because women often question themselves when something feels wrong.
“If your intuition is telling you something is wrong, listen to it,” Serayah advised.
