The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 recently made its debut, strategically preceding Apple’s launch. This device features a robust, book-like foldable design that has been well-received.
Samsung’s latest phone is not expected to be the last to embrace this broader design. It appears that Apple’s design influence might soon extend to standard, non-foldable phones as well.

There have been ongoing rumors about the Huawei Pura X View, and now, well-known tipster Ice Universe has shared some press images that appear quite official.
The images reveal a phone that adopts the 3:4 aspect ratio seen in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and, according to various reports and leaks, the iPhone Ultra. However, it lacks the foldable feature.
This design results in a phone that is more compact and square. Personally, I don’t find this shape ideal for a passport-style phone.

According to the tipster, the phone features a 6.39-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, suggesting a slightly larger footprint than the closed Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. Some members of the TA team question the practicality of this design, and their perspective is understandable.
