Following her passing, Seaver shared more about his aunt’s final wishes, including how the world should learn about the 9-to-5 singer’s death.
He stated, “Years ago, Dolly asked me to make this video announcement, a request I struggled to fully comprehend as a future reality.”
“Having served as her head of security for over two decades, a position previously held by my father Larry, I anticipated the weight of this moment, though it’s only now that I truly feel it,” he continued.
Seaver concluded, “This is an honor, filled with immense pride and deep sadness. Yet, the sadness is ours, not Dolly’s.”
