In the ongoing murder trial of Davis, Knight made a startling revelation during a conversation with TMZ on Tuesday, August 25. Knight disclosed an alleged offer but firmly rejected it.
“I told them, look, my loyalty to Tupac can’t be compromised by nobody. That’s just that,” Knight declared.
Since the trial’s commencement, Knight has consistently expressed his unwavering “loyalty” to Shakur, stating he will not participate as a witness for either side, even though he is the sole known surviving eyewitness to the incident.
During the attack, the 61-year-old Knight was injured, while Shakur sustained life-threatening wounds and passed away six days later. Despite the passage of nearly three decades since the shooting, Knight remains resolute in his silence, unwilling to be labeled a “snitch.”
“This trial has nothing to do with me, and if somebody brings me there, it’s gonna hurt whoever brings me there,” Knight told ABC News. “I promise you that.”
