We were somewhat anticipating an announcement about the company’s upcoming premium tablet line.
Admittedly, it was only a partial expectation. Throughout the year, there have been sporadic rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+. However, a recent leak cast some doubt on these speculations.

In August, the leaker Fire Universe indicated that while the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE would arrive in stores on 4 September, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series would not be released until 7 October.
It is unlikely that Samsung will host another launch event specifically for its new tablet series. Reports indicate that these tablets may only be a modest upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
Moreover, tablets, especially those running Android, are not as prominent as they once were. They do not generate the same level of excitement as top-tier smartphones in the digital space.
Given the uncertainty surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12, it is not surprising that it was not mentioned at today’s event. However, there are no concerns regarding its future.
