Some fans expressed that Olmo lacked urgency, with one noting that his transfer to Camp Nou was a mistake. The match began with an early lead for Barcelona when Lamine Yamal combined with Raphinha, who scored in the third minute.

Karim Adeyemi increased Barcelona’s advantage in the 22nd minute by placing his shot into the top right corner. In the 57th minute, Pedri set up Raphinha, who scored from close range, extending the lead to three goals.

Yamal delivered a remarkable free-kick goal in the 77th minute, curling the ball into the net, leaving Feyenoord’s Tjark Ernst unable to respond. Five minutes later, Sem Steijn scored for the visitors, but Gabriel Jesus restored Barcelona’s four-goal lead by heading in a cross from Yamal in the 85th minute.

The match concluded with a 5-1 win for Barcelona. However, Olmo’s performance left fans on X unimpressed. He failed to make any key passes, delivered no accurate crosses (0/2), and lost possession 13 times (via Sofascore). Consequently, fans voiced their dissatisfaction, with one stating:
