Casio Unveils CRW-001-1JR Smart Ring to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of First Digital Watch
Casio is set to launch its first-ever ‘smart ring‘, the CRW-001-1JR, in honor of the 50th anniversary of its initial digital watch release.
The smart ring, resembling a miniature Casio wristwatch, is designed to be worn on the finger. Despite its compact size, it features an LCD screen capable of displaying hours, minutes, and seconds, as reported by The Verge.
Equipped with three buttons for additional functionalities such as showing the date or time in different time zones, the smart ring also includes a stopwatch, built-in light, and alarm feature.
With a battery life of approximately two years, the CRW-001-1JR stands out from other smart rings like the Samsung Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring 4.
Expected to hit the shelves in Japan this December, the CRW-001-1JR is priced at 19,800 Yen, approximately £100/$127.
