The Weeknd has achieved yet another impressive milestone in his career, giving him even more reason to be thankful this holiday season. Recently, Abel Tesfaye, also known as The Weeknd, made history by having 21 songs reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. This incredible feat makes him the first artist ever to accomplish such a mind-blowing achievement.

One of the latest songs to hit the 1 billion mark on Spotify is “Lost In The Fire,” a collaboration between The Weeknd and Gesaffelstein. This track marks their second collaboration to achieve this milestone on the platform, further solidifying The Weeknd’s status as a streaming powerhouse.

In addition to his record-breaking success on Spotify, The Weeknd has also been nominated for several Billboard Music Awards. These nominations include Top Billboard Global 200 Artist, Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) Artist, Top R&B Artist, and Top R&B Male Artist. The awards ceremony is set to take place on December 12, and it’s clear that The Weeknd’s list of accomplishments will only continue to grow.

As fans eagerly await the BBMAs, one thing is certain – The Weeknd shows no signs of slowing down. With each new achievement, he continues to solidify his status as a music industry powerhouse. Cheers to The Weeknd and all that he has accomplished, with even more success surely on the horizon.
