Ohio State Buckeye fans are still reeling from their recent loss to rival Michigan, but former OSU legend Maurice Clarett is looking ahead with optimism. Clarett believes that the Buckeyes still have a shot at making it to the playoffs and potentially winning a championship.

In a recent interview with TMZSports.com, Clarett expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to bounce back. Despite the disappointing loss to Michigan, he remains focused on the upcoming playoffs and the opportunity to compete for a championship.

Following Michigan’s narrow 13-10 victory over Ohio State, Clarett reflected on the game and the team’s performance. While he had hoped for a Big Ten championship, he understands that there is still a lot to play for in the upcoming games.

“I’m not the person to dwell on one moment when there are plenty of other opportunities ahead,” Clarett said. “We still have the playoffs coming up, and we need to stay focused on that.”

Despite the loss, some fans have been quick to criticize head coach Ryan Day for the team’s performance. Clarett acknowledges that Day shares some responsibility, but he believes that the players also need to take accountability for their mistakes.

“It’s not just on the coach,” Clarett explained. “The players need to execute on the field. Turnovers and missed opportunities cost us the game. We win and lose as a team.”

As Ohio State awaits the selection show to determine their fate, fans are eager to see if the Buckeyes will indeed make it to the playoffs. Regardless of the outcome, Clarett remains hopeful and optimistic about the team’s future.
