Three individuals have initiated legal action against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that the media mogul sexually assaulted them in separate incidents. The lawsuits, filed on Thursday, claim that Combs drugged and raped the men between the years of 2019 and 2022. Identified only as “John Doe,” each accuser is seeking unspecified damages and a trial by jury.
One of the lawsuits details an incident where Doe consumed a drugged drink at a party at Combs’ residence in East Hampton in the summer of 2020. The lawsuit alleges that Combs and his associates took turns sodomizing Doe while he was unconscious. Despite his attempts to resist, Doe was unable to prevent the assault.
Another accuser claims that he met Combs at a nightclub in 2019 and was later drugged and sexually assaulted at a hotel suite. The third accuser, who had worked for Combs since 2006, alleges that he was assaulted at a hotel meeting in 2020 after being given a spiked drink by Combs.
The attorney representing the three accusers, Thomas Giuffra, stated that more than 60 individuals have contacted him with similar allegations against Combs. Giuffra believes that the lawsuits will empower the victims to reclaim their dignity and hold Combs accountable for his actions.
Combs has denied the allegations through his lawyers, calling the complaints “full of lies.” He has vowed to prove the claims false and pursue sanctions against the attorneys involved. These lawsuits are the latest in a series of legal actions against Combs, including a recent settlement with his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, over sexual assault allegations.
In addition to the civil lawsuits, Combs is facing federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering following raids on his properties. He has been incarcerated since September at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
