Moonbug Entertainment, the producer behind the popular children’s show “CoComelon,” has recently partnered with early learning company Lingokids to create interactive games featuring characters from the hit preschool brand “Blippi.”

“Blippi,” a beloved franchise that includes multiple shows across various platforms, follows the adventures of its titular character as he encourages preschool-aged children to learn through play. From exploring the backyard to embarking on adventures in the rainforest and outer space, Blippi aims to inspire young learners with engaging and educational content.

This collaboration with Moonbug marks the first time Lingokids has integrated outside intellectual property into its app, which boasts a user base of over 100 million families worldwide. The new games featuring Blippi and his friends will incorporate Lingokids’ proven educational methodology, focusing on developing essential skills such as vocabulary, logic, creativity, and emotional intelligence for children aged 2-8.

The games featuring Blippi are now live on the Lingokids app, with additional content scheduled for release in the upcoming months. Moonbug Entertainment, owned by Candle Media’s Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs, is known for its lineup of popular preschool programming, including “Blippi” and “CoComelon,” available on various video platforms globally.

Ed Barton, Moonbug’s vice president of gaming and interactive, expressed excitement about bringing Blippi to the Lingokids platform, noting the character’s appeal to children’s curiosity and love for everyday learning. Lingokids CEO Cristobal Viedma echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the partnership’s ability to offer unique learning experiences that resonate with young learners.

Viedma mentioned ongoing discussions with Moonbug Entertainment and other children’s media companies for potential collaborations to create more educational games on the Lingokids app. This partnership signifies a step towards expanding Lingokids’ educational offerings and providing meaningful learning experiences for children, aligning with the company’s mission to inspire and empower the next generation.
