Fox Sports to Stream Super Bowl LIX on Tubi
Fox is breaking new ground by choosing to stream Super Bowl LIX on its free, ad-supported streaming platform Tubi. This marks a departure from previous years when the game was streamed on Fox Sports digital outlets. The move will shine a spotlight on Tubi, a platform that has been gaining popularity in the streaming world.
Viewers can expect to watch the Super Bowl in 4K resolution on Tubi, without the need for a subscription or cable/satellite provider. The game will also be available on Fox, Fox Deportes, NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, and NFL digital properties, with all platforms airing the same commercials as the broadcast.
In addition to the game itself, Tubi will also feature Fox Sports’ pre-game show and a special “Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX” hosted by Olivia Culpo. The program will cover celebrity sightings, fashion highlights, and cultural moments surrounding the event. Leading up to the Super Bowl, Tubi’s NFL Channel will offer “Countdown to the Super Bowl” programming featuring historical footage, iconic halftime shows, NFL analysis, and more.
As part of the Super Bowl promotion, Fox Sports will take over the daytime schedule of the Fox broadcast network on February 7th. The lineup will include popular Fox Sports 1 programs like “First Things First,” “The Facility,” “Speak,” “Breakfast Ball,” and “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
