Two Men Stabbed Near Movie Theater on Lower East Side
On Saturday night, two men were viciously stabbed near the Regal Essex Crossing movie theater on Delancey Street and Norfolk Street, resulting in one fatality and one injury, according to police reports.
The incident occurred at 8:32 p.m., with a man in his 20s being stabbed in the abdomen and a 19-year-old man stabbed in the back.
Both victims were rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, but unfortunately, the older victim did not survive. The teen, however, is in stable condition.
Sources reported that a knife was found at the scene, and two suspects were apprehended, although the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
