In the Hindi-language category, Prime Video’s “Mirzapur” Season 3 took the top spot with 30.8 million viewers, followed by “Panchayat” Season 3 with 28.2 million viewers. Netflix also dominated the Hindi-language film category, with “Do Patti” leading the pack at 15.1 million viewers.
JioCinema’s “Bigg Boss OTT” Season 3 led the unscripted content landscape with 17.8 million viewers, followed by Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show” Season 1 at 15.7 million viewers.
Disney+ Hotstar emerged as a major player in regional content, leading the Telugu-language list with four entries and dominating the Tamil content space with seven entries in the top 10. “Save The Tigers” Season 2 topped the Telugu viewership charts, while Prime Video’s “Inspector Rishi” led Tamil content.
In the international film category, Prime Video’s “Road House” was the only title to cross the 5 million viewership mark. Established franchises such as “The Boys” Season 4 and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Season 2 also performed well in the international content space.
According to Ormax Power Rating (OPR), “Panchayat” Season 3 was the most-liked Hindi series of 2024, while “Squid Game 2” topped the international category. “Spaceman” from Netflix led the international films category.
“Mirzapur” Season 3 generated significant marketing buzz, with a peak score of 63%, ranking third on the all-time list for streaming shows in 2024.
