One of the main reasons I love vacationing on St. John is the pristine beaches. The crystal clear waters and powdery white sand make for the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking up the sun. Trunk Bay is a must-visit for its underwater snorkeling trail and stunning views, while Cinnamon Bay offers a more secluded and peaceful experience.
In addition to the beautiful beaches, St. John is also home to some of the most breathtaking hiking trails I’ve ever experienced. The Virgin Islands National Park covers over two-thirds of the island and offers a variety of trails for all skill levels. One of my favorite hikes is the Reef Bay Trail, which takes you through lush forests, past ancient petroglyphs, and ends at a beautiful beach where you can relax and take in the views.
When it comes to dining, St. John does not disappoint. The island is home to a variety of restaurants serving up delicious Caribbean cuisine. From fresh seafood to tropical cocktails, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. One of my favorite spots to dine is The Lime Inn, a waterfront restaurant known for its fresh catch of the day and laid-back atmosphere.
