Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to Make Announcement on Future of Independent Presidential Candidacy

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has announced that he will be making a significant announcement on Friday morning in Phoenix regarding the future of his independent presidential candidacy. This announcement comes ahead of a rally by former President Donald Trump scheduled to take place in Glendale later that day.
The day before, Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, hinted at the possibility of dropping out of the race and endorsing Donald Trump’s campaign during an interview on Tom Bilyeu’s podcast, Impact Theory.

Shanahan mentioned, “There’s two options that we’re looking at and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump.” She added, “Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump and you know, we walk away from that and explain to our base why we’re making this decision.”
RFK has not disclosed the specifics of the announcement, only stating that he will be “addressing the nation.” Kennedy’s campaign has been critical of the Democratic party, alleging that they have “sabotaged” their efforts. Shanahan also expressed support for the Republican party and Trump.
Both Kennedy and Shanahan have been proponents of a third-party option, with Shanahan noting that “71% of Americans want a third party.”
Kennedy’s announcement is scheduled for 11 a.m. PST in Phoenix, while Trump’s rally will commence at 3 p.m. PST in nearby Glendale.
