Two killed in shooting in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood

Tragedy struck in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood as two men lost their lives in a shooting incident, as confirmed by the Denver Police Department in the early hours of Sunday.

Officers rushed to the scene near a cul-de-sac in the 4400 block of South Quebec Street at 2:23 a.m., as reported by authorities.

Regrettably, one man was pronounced dead at the site, while the second man succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital.

Fortunately, there are no suspects at large, and the community is not believed to be in any immediate danger, according to police officials on Sunday.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and individuals with any relevant information are encouraged to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
