The match saw a spectacular performance from the Indian team, with Abhishek Sharma stealing the show with a remarkable 135 off 54 balls. His explosive innings included seven fours and 13 sixes, setting a new record for the highest individual score by an Indian in T20Is. The hosts posted a formidable total of 247/9 in their 20 overs.

In response, England faltered in their chase as India’s bowlers dominated, restricting the visitors to just 97 runs in 10.3 overs. The massive 150-run victory secured a 4-1 series win for the Men in Blue.
