Exciting News for “Phineas and Ferb” Fans!

The highly anticipated return of “Phineas and Ferb” is just around the corner! Co-creators Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh recently announced that new episodes will be premiering this summer on both Disney Channel and Disney+.

“Since ‘Phineas and Ferb’ is all about celebrating summer vacation, it’s the perfect time to debut the new season,” stated the executive producers in a release to Variety. “We’ve had a blast diving back into this world, and the entire cast and crew have really brought their A-game. We can’t wait to see fans’ reactions to what is shaping up to be our favorite season yet.”

In 2023, Disney Branded Television revealed the revival of the series, which will consist of 40 episodes divided into two seasons. The announcement was made by the duo during the “Disney Branded Television: Storytelling from Preschool to Families” panel at SCAD TVfest.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, expressed, “Few shows capture pure fun and creativity like ‘Phineas and Ferb’. It’s a series that generations of kids and families have adored, and it perfectly embodies Disney Branded Television’s dedication to joyful storytelling that brings people together. With Dan and Swampy back at the helm, this new season is sure to deliver even more of the excitement and heart that made ‘Phineas and Ferb’ a beloved favorite.”

Back in October 2024, Variety reported that the revival will bring back familiar voices such as Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn, David Errigo Jr. as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, and more. The returning cast members will continue to bring life to the beloved characters that fans have grown to love over the years.

“Phineas and Ferb” first premiered in 2007, quickly becoming a worldwide sensation with its themes of friendship, adventure, and imagination, accompanied by catchy tunes and witty humor. The series comprised 126 episodes, five one-hour specials, including a musical, and two movies before concluding in 2015 after four successful seasons.

According to Disney, the upcoming season of “Phineas and Ferb” will see the inventive stepbrothers taking on another 104 days of summer. Candace is more determined than ever to bust her brothers, while Perry the Platypus continues his secret agent missions to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plans in the Tri-State area.
