Rep. Nancy Mace made a shocking revelation in the House of Representatives, accusing her ex-fiancé and three business partners of committing horrendous sexual crimes against herself and a dozen other women, including underage girls. She claimed to have discovered over 10,000 videos and images on her ex-fiancé’s phone, depicting rape, voyeurism, and exploitation of women and girls in her district.
Mace described the disturbing contents of the digital files she found, including nonconsensual images of women and underage girls who were unknowingly filmed, as well as upskirt photos of a minor who was the daughter of a business associate. She also recounted finding a video of an incapacitated woman being sexually assaulted by her ex-fiancé and one of his business associates.
The congresswoman alleged that she reported the evidence to the state attorney general’s office, but claimed that the investigation was delayed for seven months. She accused South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson of dragging his feet on the investigation and failing to protect the victims.
In a dramatic account, Mace revealed how she discovered a video of herself undressed and unaware she was being filmed on her ex-fiancé’s phone, which led to her being physically assaulted and forced into hiding. She emphasized that her trauma has resulted in a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Throughout her speech, Mace criticized Wilson and vowed to continue fighting for justice for the victims. She called out the attorney general for his alleged inaction and accused him of being complicit in a system that fails to protect women.
In response to Mace’s allegations, Bryant denied the accusations and vowed to cooperate with any legal processes to clear his name. The South Carolina AG’s office refuted Mace’s claims, calling them politically motivated and lacking evidence.
Mace, who has authored legislation to combat sex offenses and protect women from abuse, emphasized the importance of holding predators accountable and ensuring the safety of women in South Carolina. She stressed that her claims are based on documented facts and called for action to address the crimes she uncovered.
