Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, is set to reunite with his bandmates for a farewell concert on July 5 in England. Despite his devastating diagnosis, Osbourne is determined to take the stage one last time with guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward in Birmingham, where the band was formed in 1968.

The event, titled “Back to the Beginning,” will mark Black Sabbath’s first concert together in 20 years and promises to be a blockbuster lineup with performances from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, and other heavy metal heavyweights. Fans are eagerly anticipating this historic reunion, as it may be the last chance to see the iconic band perform live.

However, Osbourne has revealed that his participation in the concert will be limited due to his health condition. In a recent interview on his SiriusXM channel, Ozzy’s Boneyard, the 76-year-old rockstar shared that he will only be able to make a few cameo appearances with Black Sabbath. Despite his desire to perform with the band, he acknowledges the need to prioritize his health and well-being.

“I’m not planning on doing a full set with Black Sabbath, but I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable,” Osbourne said during his “Ozzy Speaks” segment. While fans may be disappointed that Osbourne won’t be able to perform a full set with Black Sabbath, they are grateful for the opportunity to see the band reunite on stage one last time.

The farewell concert is sure to be an emotional and unforgettable experience for both the band and their devoted fans. As Osbourne continues to battle his health issues, this concert serves as a celebration of Black Sabbath’s legacy and a tribute to the enduring influence of heavy metal music. Don’t miss this historic event that will undoubtedly go down in rock ‘n’ roll history.
