An Aurora Man Arrested for Murder in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

An Aurora man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder after a fatal crash involving a motorcycle rider in November. Jeremy Austen House, 41, has been arrested for first-degree murder after deliberation in connection with the death of Dorian Matthew Torrez, according to the Aurora Police Department.

The incident occurred at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Jewell Avenue around 12:15 a.m. on November 18. House, driving a 2000 Buick Century, allegedly struck Torrez, who was riding a 2002 Honda motorcycle, before fleeing the scene. Torrez, aged 34, was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Details on the relationship between the two individuals have not been disclosed by authorities. House and Alexandra Lynn Noorlun, 33, were both identified as suspects in the case. They were apprehended after barricading themselves at their residence on East Kansas Place. Noorlun faces charges of being an accessory to a crime and tampering with evidence, both felonies.

House is currently held without bail at the Arapahoe County Detention Center and is scheduled for a court appearance on Friday. Noorlun’s bail is set at $50,000, and her next court date is pending.

The investigation remains ongoing, with Aurora police urging anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
