The Produced By Conference, organized by the Producers Guild of America, is set to make a return on May 31st. This one-day event, held at the Universal Studios lot, offers a platform for producers to network and engage in discussions about the future of producing, the role of AI, and current television trends.

One of the highlights of the conference is the “State of Producing” discussion, which provides insights into the evolving landscape of the industry. Additionally, there will be sessions focusing on the impact of AI on producing, as well as tips on pitching and selling in the television industry.

The executive producer of the conference is Branden Chapman, with Diane Salerno serving as the sponsorship director. PGA members can take advantage of discounted early bird tickets priced at $99, available until March 23rd. General admission tickets will go on sale from March 24th onwards.

Last year’s conference featured prominent speakers such as Lucia Aniello, Stephanie Allain, and Angela Russo-Otstot. Guests behind popular shows like “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “How To with John Wilson” shared their insights on crafting TV pitches. Executives from companies like Revelations Entertainment and I2A2 Technologies, Studios, and Labs also participated in discussions on AI.

Lori McCreary, CEO of Revelations Entertainment, highlighted the importance of understanding generative AI in the creative process during a panel at the conference. The Produced By Conference has been a staple event in the industry since 2008, attracting producers from various sectors including film, television, and new media.

With over 8,400 members, the Producers Guild of America is a non-profit organization that advocates for producers’ rights and provides resources such as employment and healthcare support. The PGA also offers mentorship opportunities for emerging producers, making it a valuable platform for industry professionals to connect and learn from each other.
