In a shocking twist of events, former prosecutor Raymond Zuppa has filed a petition in Manhattan Supreme Court calling for a deeper investigation into the 2013 death of Queens woman Natasha Jugo. Zuppa believes that Jugo was actually murdered by the notorious Long Island Serial Killer, also known as the Gilgo Beach killer. The case was initially ruled as a suicide, but Zuppa’s petition argues that there are discrepancies and evidence that suggest foul play.

Natasha Jugo, a 31-year-old diagnosed schizophrenic, was last seen alive on March 16, 2013, leaving her home in Bayside, Queens. She had been sent to a nearby pharmacy to pick up a prescription for her sick father. The next day, some of her belongings were found on Tobay Beach in Massapequa, leading authorities to her abandoned car parked along Ocean Parkway. Eventually, Jugo’s body was discovered washed ashore on Gilgo Beach on June 24, 2013.

Zuppa questions the official ruling of suicide, pointing out that Jugo driving 30 minutes from her home to commit suicide by walking into the ocean seems unlikely. He believes there may be a connection between Jugo’s death and the accused Gilgo Beach killer, Rex Heuermann. Heuermann has been charged with the murders of seven of the 11 people found along Ocean Parkway between December 2010 and April 2011.

The petition argues that the circumstances surrounding Jugo’s death do not align with suicide. Zuppa highlights the lack of trauma on Jugo’s body, despite being in the ocean for three months. He also points out discrepancies in the clothing descriptions provided by different investigators and raises questions about a partially redacted photo showing a rope near Jugo’s body.

Zuppa’s petition calls for a fresh look at the case, suggesting that Jugo’s death may be linked to the Gilgo Beach killings. He raises the possibility of Heuermann being involved in Jugo’s death, considering the close proximity of their locations and the similarities in the way some of the Gilgo victims were found bound.

As the investigation unfolds, the truth behind Natasha Jugo’s death remains shrouded in mystery. The petition filed by Zuppa serves as a plea for justice and a call to reopen the case to uncover the real circumstances surrounding her tragic demise.
