Coupang Play Secures Content Partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery
Coupang Play, a popular Korean streaming platform, has made waves in the entertainment industry by announcing a major content partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. This groundbreaking deal will bring some of HBO and Max’s most beloved series to Korean viewers starting March 21.
Subscribers can look forward to streaming current and future seasons of acclaimed shows like “Game of Thrones,” “Succession,” “Euphoria,” and “House of the Dragon” on Coupang Play. Additionally, fan favorites such as “Sex and the City” and “Band of Brothers” will be available on the platform.
Exclusive premieres on Coupang Play include the third season of “The White Lotus,” featuring Blackpink’s Lisa in her acting debut, and Season 2 of the post-apocalyptic hit “The Last of Us.”
In addition to HBO Originals, subscribers will also have access to select Max Originals like “And Just Like That…” and “The Pitt,” as well as blockbuster Warner Bros. films such as “Barbie,” “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” and “Dune: Part Two” in the coming months.
