Meghan Markle Discusses Childhood Memories in New Netflix Series
Meghan Markle recently debuted her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, where she welcomed special guests to discuss various topics. In the second episode, Markle sat down with her friend Mindy Kaling to reminisce about kids’ parties and their childhoods.
During the conversation, Kaling mentioned that people might be surprised to learn that Markle used to eat at Jack in the Box. Markle humorously corrected her friend by saying, “It’s so funny that you keep calling me Meghan Markle. You know I’m Sussex now.”
Markle, who received the title of Duchess of Sussex after marrying Prince Harry in 2018, also shared how meaningful it is to share her name with her children. Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, the names of their children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – were updated. Initially known as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, the children now bear the family name.
Reflecting on this, the former Suits actress expressed, “Having kids and sharing my name with them has become incredibly meaningful. It signifies our little family unit and brings us closer together.”
