Entrepreneur Elon Musk recently shared his admiration for three tech giants whom he considers the smartest individuals he has ever met. During a conversation on the “Verdict with Ted Cruz” podcast, the Tesla CEO was asked to name the CEO he most admired or the smartest person he had encountered.
Musk highlighted Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Oracle’s Larry Ellison, and Google’s Larry Page as the most brilliant minds he knew.
He commended Jeff Bezos for his achievements, stating, “Jeff Bezos has accomplished many challenging and significant feats.” This praise comes despite the longstanding rivalry between the two, particularly in the realm of space exploration through SpaceX and Blue Origin.
Interestingly, Musk and Bezos seem to have developed a more amicable relationship recently, with Musk even sharing memes from the movie “Step Brothers,” hinting at a potential reconciliation.
Regarding Larry Ellison, Musk described him as exceptionally intelligent, highlighting their close relationship. Ellison had previously supported Musk’s endeavors, including contributing $1 billion towards his Twitter acquisition and assisting with obtaining resources for AI development.
Musk also lauded Larry Page, suggesting that a person’s accomplishments can be a measure of their intelligence. He emphasized the importance of actions in assessing intelligence.
Despite facing financial setbacks, Musk remains at the top of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. He has been vocal about his opinions on Bezos in the past, referring to him as a “copycat” and poking fun at Blue Origin’s space plans.
