Usain Bolt Mourns the Loss of His Father

Usain Bolt, the legendary Olympic gold medalist, is mourning the loss of his father, Wellesley Bolt, who passed away at the age of 68 after a lengthy illness. The news of his father’s death has left the sprinting icon and his family devastated.

According to reports from RadarOnline.com, Wellesley Bolt was admitted to a medical facility in Kingston, Jamaica, where he succumbed to his illness shortly after being transported from his home. Leon Jackson, a longtime friend of Wellesley from the Sherwood Content community, revealed that Wellesley had been battling health issues for some time, including a stroke that he never fully recovered from.

Usain Bolt has yet to make a statement regarding his father’s passing, but he has previously spoken about the significant role his father played in his success. In an interview with Wayne Marshall, Usain credited his father for guiding him in the right direction and encouraging him to focus on sprinting, where he eventually became a global sensation.
