The Weather Channel is gearing up for the premiere of the highly anticipated docuseries “Rocky Mountain Wreckers,” set to debut on April 13. Produced by the team behind hit shows like “Highway Thru Hell” and “Heavy Rescue: 401,” this new weekly hourlong series aims to give viewers an inside look at the intense world of recovery crews in the Rocky Mountains.

According to the official synopsis, “Rocky Mountain Wreckers” will showcase the day-to-day challenges faced by these skilled professionals, from battling fires to managing hazardous spills. Each episode promises to immerse viewers in the heart-pounding action as the recovery teams use heavy equipment and expert knowledge to tackle wreckage against the clock.

Byron Allen, founder and chairman of Weather Channel parent company Allen Media Group, highlighted the series as part of the network’s commitment to showcasing how weather impacts our lives. “Rocky Mountain Wreckers” will follow wrecker crews as they navigate extreme weather conditions in their line of work, providing a unique perspective on the intersection of weather and recovery operations.

The show is a collaboration between Great Pacific Media, based in British Columbia, and Canadian TV powerhouse Bell Media. CEO of Great Pacific Media, David Way, expressed excitement about the upcoming premiere and gratitude towards The Weather Channel and Bell Media for their support in bringing the series to life.
