In a groundbreaking move, semiconductor titan NVIDIA has declared that it will produce its AI supercomputers entirely on American soil, as the company announced today. This initiative is part of NVIDIA’s ambitious commitment to invest $500 billion in AI infrastructure within the United States over the next four years.

The company plans to manufacture and test its cutting-edge chips in Arizona, while its AI supercomputers will be assembled in Texas, utilizing over a million square feet of newly established manufacturing facilities.

Welcome to the era of the Trump Effect.

Former President Donald J. Trump prioritized domestic chip manufacturing as a key component of his vision for an American manufacturing renaissance, a strategy that appears to be yielding substantial returns — with trillions in new investments flooding the tech sector.

Earlier this year, Trump announced a massive $500 billion private investment in AI infrastructure, spearheaded by industry giants such as OpenAI, Oracle, and Softbank. In parallel, Apple revealed its own $500 billion investment, while TSMC committed to a $100 billion infusion into chip manufacturing.

Bringing these industries back to American soil is not just beneficial for the economy; it also supports American workers and bolsters national security. The best, it seems, is yet to unfold.
