HR Tech Startup Rippling Attempts to Serve Deel CEO Alex Bouaziz Amid Lawsuit Drama

In a dramatic turn of events, HR tech startup Rippling is embroiled in a legal battle with competitor Deel, with allegations of espionage and intrigue at the center of the dispute. The Irish newspaper Business Post has reported that Rippling is attempting to serve Deel CEO Alex Bouaziz with legal papers as part of the lawsuit, but encounters a major obstacle in locating him.

The lawsuit, filed earlier this year in Ireland, claims that Deel paid an employee to spy on Rippling, a shocking revelation supported by an affidavit from the alleged spy that reads like a Hollywood script. Deel vehemently denies any wrongdoing in this matter.

Despite the urgency of serving Bouaziz with the legal documents, French bailiffs hired by Rippling have been unable to locate him at his listed address in Paris. This has prompted Rippling to consider alternative methods, such as serving him via email, as reported by the Business Post.

According to reports from French magazine Challenges, Bouaziz is described as “highly nomadic” but maintains a strong connection to France. While his LinkedIn profile lists Tel Aviv as his location, his X profile indicates New York as his base.

As the legal battle intensifies, all parties involved – Rippling, Deel, and Bouaziz – have remained tight-lipped and refrained from commenting on the situation.
