Ashley St. Clair recently revealed to The Wall Street Journal that Elon Musk proposed a staggering $15 million upfront along with $100,000 monthly payments until their son reaches adulthood.

The discussions concerning the paternity test and financial arrangements were conveyed to St. Clair through Jared Birchall, Musk’s so-called fixer. According to the report, “Musk offered St. Clair $15 million and $100,000 a month in support in exchange for her silence about the child, whom they named Romulus. Similar agreements had been negotiated with other mothers of Musk’s children, Birchall told St. Clair.”

St. Clair, however, rejected this lucrative offer, citing concerns that it would make her son feel illegitimate. “She complied with the request to not name Musk on the birth certificate,” the report stated. Shortly after Romulus was born, Birchall urged St. Clair to sign non-disclosure agreements that would keep the father’s identity and the nature of her relationship with Musk confidential in exchange for the financial support. The terms included a one-time payment of $15 million for housing and living expenses, plus ongoing monthly support until the child turned 21.

St. Clair was wary of the agreement, which would have prohibited her from discussing Musk, whilst paradoxically leaving him free to disparage her at will. Furthermore, she would have been liable to repay the lump sum if she violated the terms.

On Valentine’s Day, the 26-year-old conservative influencer made waves online by announcing Musk as the father of her youngest child. “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she declared. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause. I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting,” she concluded.

In a twist of irony, St. Clair, who reportedly resides in a luxurious Manhattan apartment funded by Musk, stated last month that she was compelled to sell her $100,000 Model S Tesla due to a significant reduction in child support from Musk. “I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60 percent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she explained.

When a reporter inquired whether she felt Musk was acting vindictively, she responded, “Yeah, that’s his modus operandi, when women speak out.” St. Clair noted that she had not had any communication with Musk since February 13.

In a surprising turn of events, Musk publicly stated that he was uncertain if St. Clair’s son was indeed his child, despite asserting he has already paid her millions. “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,” he tweeted. He further mentioned, “Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

St. Clair did not hold back in her rebuttal to Musk’s claims on social media. “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused,” she stated. “And you weren’t sending *me* money; you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary
until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’ But you’re really only punishing your son.” She added, “It’s ironic that your last effort in court was to try to gag me while you use a social media channel you literally own to distribute derogatory messages about me and our child to the entire world. It’s all about control with you, and everyone can see it. America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.”

According to The Wall Street Journal, a paternity test ordered for Musk reportedly revealed a “Probability of Paternity” at an astonishing 99.9999%.
