Ronny Chieng from “The Daily Show” didn’t hold back when he called out Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for his controversial remarks about autism. Kennedy claimed that people with autism can’t pay taxes, hold a job, play baseball, write a poem, or go on a date, sparking outrage from autism advocacy groups.

Chieng sarcastically remarked that Elon Musk, who has Asperger’s syndrome, proves that autistic individuals can achieve anything, even dismantle the government. He also criticized Kennedy for his inaccurate and insensitive comments, highlighting that autistic people do pay taxes and questioning Kennedy’s authority to determine what makes life fulfilling.

“The Daily Show” audience reacted negatively to Kennedy’s statements, prompting Chieng to further dismantle his claims. Chieng humorously pointed out the absurdity of Kennedy’s beliefs, emphasizing that preventing children from writing poems is not a priority and questioning Kennedy’s judgment on the value of life experiences.

Chieng’s monologue on the show shed light on the harmful impact of misinformation and stigma surrounding autism. Check out the full segment on “The Daily Show” for more insights. sentence in a different way: “The cat lazily stretched out on the windowsill.”
