The Real Housewives of New York City underwent a significant casting overhaul in 2023 as season 14 kicked off with a fresh lineup. Despite the changes, fans remain intrigued by the original RHONY stars and the enduring personalities from the franchise.

While several RHONY alumni still reside in the bustling city of New York, a handful have chosen to make the move to the sunny shores of Florida, including Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin.

Bethenny Frankel, a former RHONY star who appeared on the show intermittently from 2008 to 2019, announced her relocation to Florida in April 2025. Sources close to Frankel revealed that her decision was primarily influenced by her daughter, Bryn, as it aligned with Bryn’s academic and athletic aspirations, prioritizing her well-being above all.

Another RHONY favorite, Sonja Morgan, made a similar move to Florida. After listing her Upper East Side townhouse for sale in 2022, Sonja purchased a waterfront condo in West Palm Beach in the same year, marking her transition to Florida living.

Jill Zarin, who was a mainstay on RHONY from season 1 to season 4, also made the move to Florida following the passing of her husband, Bobby Zarin, in 2018. After selling her Boca Raton home and residing temporarily in her New York City apartment, Jill officially relocated “Camp Zarin” to Boca Raton in September 2023, after renovating the property she acquired a year earlier.

Ramona Singer, another RHONY star from season 1 to season 13, purchased a condo in Palm Beach and gave fans a glimpse of the oceanfront property in 2021. While she primarily resides in New York City, Singer’s new Palm Beach residence offers a tranquil escape.

Jules Wainstein, who appeared on RHONY for just one season, made the move to Florida following her divorce from Michael Wainstein. After settling a child custody agreement in 2020 that granted her full legal custody of their children, Jules now resides in Florida alongside Michael.

The allure of Florida’s sunny skies and laid-back lifestyle has drawn several former RHONY stars to make the Sunshine State their new home. As they embark on this new chapter, fans eagerly follow their journeys and updates on social media, keeping the RHONY spirit alive even beyond the city limits of New York. “New Study Shows Benefits of Meditation for Mental Health”

A new study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology has revealed the significant benefits of meditation for mental health. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, found that regular meditation practice can lead to a decrease in symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as an improvement in overall well-being.

The study involved over 500 participants who were divided into two groups: one group practiced meditation for 20 minutes a day, five days a week, while the other group did not engage in any meditation practices. After eight weeks, the researchers found that the participants who practiced meditation showed a significant reduction in symptoms of anxiety and depression compared to those who did not meditate.

One of the key findings of the study was that meditation can help individuals develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation skills. This, in turn, can lead to a decrease in negative thought patterns and an increase in positive emotions. The researchers also found that meditation can help improve focus and concentration, which can be particularly beneficial for individuals with attention deficit disorders.

Furthermore, the study found that meditation can help individuals cultivate a sense of inner peace and calmness, which can be particularly helpful in managing stress and coping with difficult emotions. The researchers noted that regular meditation practice can lead to changes in the brain that are associated with improved mood and emotional well-being.

The findings of this study are consistent with previous research that has shown the benefits of meditation for mental health. Meditation has been shown to reduce levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, and increase levels of serotonin, the neurotransmitter associated with feelings of happiness and well-being.

Overall, the results of this study suggest that incorporating meditation into one’s daily routine can have a significant impact on mental health. Whether it’s through mindfulness meditation, loving-kindness meditation, or another form of meditation practice, taking the time to quiet the mind and cultivate inner peace can lead to a greater sense of well-being and overall mental health.
