Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently opened up about the process of changing the name of her lifestyle brand from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever. In a conversation with Highbrow Hippie cofounder Kadi Lee on her podcast “Confessions of a Female Founder,” Meghan discussed the evolution of her business and the decision to rebrand.

Originally introduced as American Riviera Orchard last year, Meghan announced in February that the brand would now be known as As Ever. She explained that the name change was a result of the growth of her business and her partnership with Netflix. Meghan had secured the name As Ever in 2022 and felt that it better represented the expansive range of products she planned to offer.

During the podcast, Meghan shared, “I had always loved the name As Ever, and when the opportunity arose to pivot, it felt like the right time to make the change.” She also mentioned that having a quiet period to focus on building the brand without external distractions was beneficial.

The launch of Meghan’s first collection of As Ever products, including her popular raspberry jam, sold out in just one hour. This success followed the premiere of her Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” which has already been renewed for a second season.

Meghan took to Instagram to announce the name change, sharing a video with her followers where she explained the reasoning behind the switch. She expressed that the name American Riviera Orchard limited her to products only from her local area, whereas As Ever allowed for a broader scope.

The Duchess described As Ever as a brand that reflects her passions for cooking, crafting, gardening, and thoughtful living. She expressed excitement about this new chapter and how it aligns with her values and interests. Meghan plans to continue sharing behind-the-scenes insights as the brand prepares for its official launch.

New episodes of Meghan’s podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder,” are released every Tuesday and provide a glimpse into her journey as an entrepreneur. The rebranding of her lifestyle brand signifies a new beginning for Meghan as she continues to pursue her passion for creativity and mindful living. The world of technology is constantly evolving, with new innovations and advancements being made every day. One of the most exciting developments in recent years has been the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. AI has the potential to revolutionize countless industries, from healthcare to finance to transportation. But what exactly is AI, and how does it work?

At its core, AI is a branch of computer science that aims to create machines that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. This includes things like learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and language understanding. AI systems are designed to process large amounts of data and make decisions based on that data, much like a human would.

There are several different approaches to AI, but one of the most common is machine learning. Machine learning involves training a computer system to recognize patterns in data and make predictions based on those patterns. This is done by feeding the system large amounts of labeled data, which it uses to learn and improve its performance over time.

Another key component of AI is neural networks, which are modeled after the human brain. Neural networks consist of interconnected nodes that process information and make decisions based on that information. These networks can be trained to perform specific tasks, such as image recognition or natural language processing.

AI technology is already being used in a wide range of applications. In healthcare, AI is being used to analyze medical images and diagnose diseases. In finance, AI is being used to detect fraud and make investment decisions. In transportation, AI is being used to improve traffic flow and optimize routes.

But AI is not without its challenges. One of the biggest concerns surrounding AI is the potential for bias. Because AI systems are trained on data, they can inadvertently learn and perpetuate biases present in that data. This can result in unfair or discriminatory outcomes, particularly in areas like hiring or lending decisions.

Despite these challenges, the future of AI looks bright. As technology continues to advance, AI systems will become more sophisticated and capable of solving complex problems. With the right safeguards in place, AI has the potential to improve efficiency, enhance productivity, and transform the way we live and work. The possibilities are endless, and the potential for AI to shape the future is truly exciting.
